MONOGRAM ASSIGNMENT: - Go to the link below and follow the instructions on how to create your own monogram. http://inmyownstyle.com/2013/03/how-to-create-a-monogram-using-microsoft-word.html Please follow the instructions VERY carefully! - There are 3 separate stages to creating your monogram (1- "Making a Monogram to Print Using Microsoft Word", 2 - "To Create a Circle Around the Letters", 3 - "To Change the Font and Background Colours"). - DO NOT print your monogram after Step #12 (even though the website tells you to do this). - At Step #16, save the document to your Technology 9 file as "Monogram 1" and continue working on it up to and including the step where you change the colour of your font and background Then, save this document to your Technology 9 file as "Monogram 2." When you are finished, you should have two completed monograms. - PLEASE NOTE: The version of Microsoft WOrd you will be using is slightly different than what you see in the tutorial, but it is easy to figure out the few differences that exist if you play around a bit. If you need help, please ask your teacher. - Be sure to use the rulers and the grid to guide you in positioning your letters, bullets, and outlines. - Once you have successfully completed this activity, do it two more times. However, change the fonts, styles, backgrounds, colours, and maybe even the initials. Get creative! - So, all together, you will complete this activity 3 times, with 2 monogram samples to be submitted for each time you complete it. Therefore, you need to submit 6 different monogram examples. Please be sure your name is on all of them. Email me all 6 monograms as attachments when you are finished. Please make sure that your name is on your assignment. - My email address is [email protected] - Source: http://inmyownstyle.com/2013/03/how-to-create-a-monogram-using-microsoft-word.html
